Within our students’ minds is a wild and wonderful world of creativity. Through thoughtful scaffolding and the Orff process, we can encourage students to play, experiment with their ideas, stretch their thinking, and ultimately guide them toward satisfying compositions. In this workshop, we will gain fresh inspiration for improvising and composing with your classes.

Presenter Bio:

Daniel Rhode is a Michigan-based composer and music educator, co-founder of the record label slashsound. His music blends synthesizers with acoustic ensembles and has been commissioned by Kun-Yang Lin Dancers and others. He teaches Lower School Music at University Liggett in Grosse Pointe,Michigan.
